High Point Senior Pictures for Guys
Getting your senior boy to agree to senior pictures, let alone choosing the right photographer to do the job, can be an overwhelming task! Trust me, I almost hired someone else when it came time for my son to do his senior pictures. For whatever reason, kids (boys especially) just do better for someone other than their mommas.
When you bring your son in for a consult, I make sure to ask lots, allowing me to get to the heart of what makes your boy unique. There is a special bond between mommas and their boys, and you alone know his amazing characteristics. I plan each session around the unique personality, passions, and style of the senior, while keeping mom's wants in the mix too.
Dabbling in downtown High Point for some classic portraits
Grey had a lot of great ideas that he wanted to incorporate into his session, but mom wanted some classic perfect-for-a-wall-portrait images as well.
During our consult, I often ask about the décor and colors in your home. Grey's home has a lot of brown tones, so his outfit choice was a nice match to those colors.
High Point, NC boasts itself as the furniture capital of the world. That said, our downtown area is filled with furniture showrooms that sit quiet until the furniture market comes into town in the fall and spring. It provides some interesting and unique backdrops, perfect for senior portraits.
Soccer senior pictures for guys
Grey plays soccer for both a travel club team and his high school, Wesleyan Christian Academy. In fact, high school soccer starts at the beginning of August with a tradition of head shaving. Grey's mom DID NOT want Grey to have a freshly shaved head for his senior portraits, so it was imperative that we completed his session before that happened.
Guy senior pictures for a hunter and a truck
One of Grey's passions is hunting on some family land. During our consult he said, "I have some great ideas!" And great ideas he did!
Earlier in the week, Grey had gone out to the property to set up a couple of deer stands that were easy to get to for photos. His brother even mowed the long grass making areas on the property accessible, especially around his favorite tree. How perfect was this tree as a backdrop for Grey's truck?!
