Colorful Senior Pictures in High Point, NC
When Arden and I met to craft her senior portrait session, she expressed how she wanted a location with lots of color to showcase her vibrant personality. As a child, her mom would take her often to the children's museum to play and explore. While this location isn't the exact location of her youth, it is a wonderful new addition to the city of High Point. The Qubein Children's Museum was so welcoming to us, allowing us to capture Arden's pictures both inside and outside of the museum!
Urban Senior Pictures in High Point, NC
After playing at the museum, Arden changed into a sassy black jumpsuit accented with Kelly green slides and some fun matching ear bling!
We are so fortunate to have unique buildings in High Point, and I knew the perfect location to go with her adorable outfit.
During every consult, we not only talk about desired locations, but also about outfit choices. Often a senior's outfit choices need to match their location and vice versa. And sometimes, its a game day decision during a session as a location just works with a specific outfit. I absolutely love the flexibility and creativity I have photographing seniors to bring out their best selves!
North Carolina Senior Sessions in Flower Fields
A flower field location is a popular request for many of my female clients. Its important to share your desire for flowers with me during your consult, as we have to schedule those not only when mother nature cooperates, but also when the farms are available.
Dogwood Farms in Belews Creek has been so gracious to offer up their gorgeous property to photographers over the past several years. In the late summer, not only are sunflowers often blooming, but fields of zinnias as well.
After capturing images of Arden downtown High Point, we scooted up to this farm. Mother nature wanted to thwart our plans as an unexpected storm started brewing. The sky was blackening and lightning was making a show in the far distance. Looking at the radar, we had to complete this session in a fast and furious manner. I'm not sure Arden had ever changed clothing or smiled so fast in her life! Thankfully, we made it work, and the bottom dropped out just as we hopped back in the car to head home.
I'm sure she will NEVER forget her senior portrait session!
