When should you hire a professional home organizer?
The short answer to "when should you hire a professional organizer, or in the case of A New Day Organizing, a team or organizers, is NOW! Well, unless you are an uber tidy minimalist, then maybe you don't need their services, but I only know a small percentage of those people, they're like unicorns in this world!
So.. When should you hire Sandy and her team?
When...
- you are overwhelmed by clutter and you have no idea where to start
- you know what needs to be done but you have no time to allot to tacking the project at hand
- you struggle to stay organized because you have no systems in place for taming the clutter
- you need to maximize your space
- you've gone through a major life transition like downsizing, having a baby, blending a family, or dealing with a loss.
Three hours can change your life!
Sandy, the CEO behind this amazing small business, and I collaborated on this project. She needed some branding and marketing images and I had a space that needed an overhaul.
Our study sits in the very front of our house. It's the first room you come to when you enter the front door, and it gave me anxiety every time I walked into it. Our study had become the catch all of all old books, old computers, business supplies, and paperwork. Sound familiar?
With a busy photography business, I just didn't have the time to tackle it, nor did I know where to begin. And franky, the room itself gave me heart palpitations.
Before the project was tackled, Sandy came over and listened to my needs and concerns. She took measurements and pictures, and shared her ideas of how to fix my disorganized issues. I felt so confident handing this space over to her and her team.
On project day, Sandy and her team helped me make quick decisions on whether or not to get rid of 30+ year old books (Easy decision), and old planners (Not as easy). They purged, organized, sorted, and labled. In three hours that room underwent a transformation!
Clean branding images are perfect to share your message on social media!
After Sandy and her team were done with my project, we headed upstairs to my in home studio to capture some headshots and marketing image for her and her team. Sandy shared some of the ideas behind her business, and props that described what her business was all about. She comes armed to every jobsite with organizing bins, baskets, and most importantly, a label maker! Those were necessary to capture in her story!
I can't wait to see how Sandy ses these images for her business. In the meantime, you can check out some behind the scenes here!
