Senior Pictures in the Greensboro Arboretum
Mary Katherine wanted a little change of scenery other than her beloved barn for her senior pictures.
We headed to the Greensboro Arboretum for our first location. With the variety of backdrops here from some lingering late summer flowers, huge windchimes, and a peaceful babbling brook, we captured all the nature that MK wanted included in her senior pictures!
Equine Senior Pictures in Jamestown, North Carolina
Mary Katherine has been riding horses nearly all her life, so it was most appropriate that we included her beloved Pia in her senior pictures at Jamestown Equestrian Center.
Pia, however, has been stall bound for the last few months due to a soft tissue injury in her leg. To say Pia was a little cantankerous during our shoot would be an understatement.
I feel dogs and horses are much like human toddlers and they have a mind of their own. Being out of her stall, Pia was less than extremely cooperative during her time in front of my lens. We enlisted the help of another horse, one that MK regularly rides as well, to step in for some photos as well!
Golden Hour Senior Pictures in North Carolina
We finished up MK's senior session by catching some of the beautiful golden hour light at the far, Jamestown Equestrian Center get the absolute best sunsets around! Mk brought a long black dress and the path leading out to the pastures and the fences surrounding them were just the perfect settings for her!
